August 01, 2024

On August 1, 2024, a milestone was achieved with the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP) and SCUOLA.. This collaboration marks a promising step towards enhancing educational quality and support for 200 students nationwide.

CEAP commits itself to the development and promotion of Catholic education by forming leaders in character and nation-building. Its mission is to prepare students to be responsible, discerning citizens with 21st-century skills. With the Philippine education system facing challenges, CEAP is committed to addressing these issues, including deteriorating educational quality and the need for proper nutritional support.

Fr. Albert N. Delvo, PhD, CEAP President, and Mr. Jose Allan I. Arellano signed on behalf of the CEAP. Ms. Mica Alcaria of SCUOLA with Atty. Monique B. Ang, the company’s legal adviser from ACCRALaw, signed on behalf of the latter.

SCUOLA, being committed to corporate and social responsibility, has partnered with CEAP to strengthen its efforts. As part of their contribution, SCUOLA will provide tuition assistance to 200 students identified by CEAP. This support aims to ensure students have access to quality education and resources necessary for their growth and development.

By combining CEAP’s dedication to character and citizenship with Scuola’s commitment to social responsibility, this partnership promises to make a meaningful impact on the lives of students, upholding both academic excellence and holistic development.

As the educational landscape evolves, collaborations like this are vital in ensuring that students receive the support and opportunities they need to thrive. The partnership is in support of the initiatives of CEAP and CARITAS to provide scholarships and supplemental support to 200 poor and undernourished students in volunteer Catholic schools nationwide.
