CEAP and CARITAS Philippines are joining forces to work on a program that would help selected poor but deserving students continue their education with the necessary support from the two Church-affiliated organizations.
Bp. Collins Bagaforo, Chair of CARITAS PH, and Fr. Albert N. Delvo, PhD, CEAP President, agreed to continue the conversation and planning before the start of the program this coming school year. A Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) will be drafted and signed to seal the collaboration.
Also present during the meeting on May 16 were, Fr. Wilmer Tria, CEAP Secretary and Advocacy Chair, Mr. Jose Allan Arellano, CEAP Executive Director and Ms. Charina Claustro, CEAP Advocacy Coorfinator. Bp. Bagaforo was with members of his team during the meeting held at the CaritasPh Boardroom, Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) Compound, Intramuros Manila.
