On April 17, 2024, the OIEC-Asia members convened via Google Meet for their quarterly gathering. The meeting was led by Fr. Alain Manalo, the OIEC-Asia Vice-President, together with Herve Lecomte, the OIEC Secretary General. The other attendees are representatives from various countries, including Fr. Charles Maria of India, Mr. Asher David of Pakistan, Mr. Jyoti Gomes of Bangladesh, Mr. Brian de Rosario of Malaysia, and Mr. Do Manh Curong of Vietnam.

 

During the meeting, Secretary General Lecomte updated the members about OIEC's future engagements and activities with the Dicastery of Culture and Education, after which the country representative of Bangladesh also discussed and presented their Catholic educational apostolate.
