CEAP President visits CEAP CARAGA for his Visit, Greet, and Meet with regional trustee and council

April 8, 2023 - The CEAP CARAGA Council, headed by Sr. Roseann Mallillin, SPC, Trustee of the Region and President of St. Paul University Surigao (SPUS), welcomed CEAP National officers headed by Fr. Albert N. Delvo, PhD, CEAP President. Fr. Delvo was joined by Fr. Wilmer T. Tria, CEAP Secretary and Chair of the National Advocacy Commission (NAC), Mr. Jose Allan I. Arellano, CEAP Executive Director, and Ms. Precious Diaz, Executive Secretary of the Roman Catholic Bishop of Novaliches School System during their VGM ( Visit, Greet and Meeting) in the region.
 
Sr. Mallillin, together with members of her Council present, composed of Fr. Ronniel Babano, President of Columban College (Butuan), Msgr. Edito Alana, Superintendent of the Diocesan Schools of Surigao, Mr. Gilbert Mantala, Ms. Christy Joy Gabrieles and Mr. John Angelo Rejuso from the administrative team of SPUS, engaged the CEAP Officers on a conversation on the most pressing needs of the Catholic schools in the region. She also shared the accomplishments of the CEAP CARAGA during her incumbency.
 
Fr. Albert expressed his appreciation for the warm hospitality of the CEAP Regional leadership and reported what his administration is doing, engaging policy makers at the national level, conducting consultative meetings and organizing events to promote the welfare of the Catholic and private educational sector.
 
A special luncheon courtesy visit was arranged with His Excellency, Bishop Antinieto D. Cabahug, D.D. During the event, the CEAP President and the Local Ordinary engaged in a conversation on the situation of the educational ministry of the Church in Mindanao, particularly in Surigao.
 
The VGM in Surigao is the 15th conducted by the CEAP leadership during the last three months which, among others, intended to operationalize synodality by listening and engaging in a dialogue with the local Catholic school leaders in their regions.
