CEAP President visits CEAP region 4 for his Visit, Greet, and Meet with regional trustee and council

The CEAP President, Fr. Albert N. Delvo, Ph.D., accompanied by Mr. Jose Allan I. Arellano, CEAP Executive Director, conducted a conversation with the leaders of the Catholic schools in Region 4 headed by Sr. Luzviminda Mojica, FdCC, CEAP IV Regional Trustee. The regional VGM ( Visit, Greet and Meet) conducted by the CEAP leadership is an on-going program spearheaded by Fr. Delvo. The dialogue with CEAP Region IV last February 27, 2024, is the 11th VGM.
 
The first part of the VGM included a dialogue with his excellency, Bp. Reynaldo G. Evangelista, D.D. at the Tahanan ng Mabuting Pastol, Tagaytay City. Bp. Evangelista gave a tour of the facility for retired priests before the meeting.
Bp. Evangelista, during the opening part of the conversation relayed to Fr. Albert and to the CEAP Regional Council the accomplishments, concerns and plans of the Diocese of Imus Catholic Schools System. The DICES is presently supervised by Fr. Alain P. Manalo, the Diocesan Superintendent.
 
The members of the Regional Council then shared their updates and concerns to the President. Some of these concerns are related to the sustainability of the schools, the need for training program for teachers, especially CL teachers, materials for CL in relation to GMRC and VE, support from CEAP to the region, among others.
 
For his part, Fr. Albert shared the advocacy work being done by the Association together with COCOPEA, which CEAP is leading presently. He relayed to them the legislative work in CONGRESS to improve the educational system as well as consultative meetings being held by DepEd and other education agencies.
 
The VGM intends to intensify the desire of the CEAP leadership to work in synodality with the regional leaders of the association. CEAP is the biggest and most organized association of schools in the country today.
