It has been a year since the Catholic Educational Association of the Philippines (CEAP), through a decision made in a special online meeting of its National Board of Trustees, in April of 2020, had created the CEAP Task Force COVID-19 for Institutional Assessment and Response (CEAP-TF COVID-19 IAR). Through the Task Force, CEAP has provided its member-schools with a school continuity plan for School Year 2020-2021 that could help them adapt to the COVID situation. Among the menu of options on different aspects of school operations, CEAP has made available a modern cloud-based system, designed to help the member-schools transform their Manual Enrollment process into Online Enrollment: the Enrollment Assistance Program (CEAP-EAP).
A system was put in place and CEAP received numerous applications for the program. About 70+ schools were sponsored by Kleafs Publishing Incorporated and the overall design and modifications of the system, including technical support, were powered by Rakso CT. The CEAP extends its appreciation to our dear partners in education who have made this program possible!
For School Year 2021-2022, 30+ of the schools had renewed their CEAP-EAP. Some reported that they had connection issues in the area and had to forego with the system. While some had decided to continue with their manual processing of the enrollment this year, others were inspired to put up their own system. Meanwhile, CEAP, with its partners, continues its support for our member-schools through the EAP. Various social media accounts have posted announcements of the member-schools’ online enrollment. With EAP, CEAP continues its efforts to support Catholic education during this pandemic.
